Ac!d Commander: A circuitous route to obtain C4

This is my new game project: “Ac!d Commander.” It involves Metal Gear Ac!d for the PSP. Rather than being in written form, I decided to do an actual Let’s Play, making videos and everything. I’ll be posting one to three new videos every Friday from today until the game is over.  I welcome any comments and discussion. Apologies in advance for any audio hiccups, video malfunctions, or other jackassery, which will surely ensue.

Up this week are two, yes TWO more videos! How exciting is that?! And they are slightly shorter missions than usual, so yay? And that’s only because these two episodes represent a couple of middling stages that Snake must traverse in order to get to an armory. Adventure? Excitement? Well…maybe.

Ac!d Commander: Finding Gary (parts 2 and 3)

Finally, finally, finally have I have more than one video to share! Y’know, the devil in this process really is video editing. I mean, I could record games all the live long day…but editing them? That’s another story. So let’s talk about this story, the story of Solid Snake and a guy named Gary who’s trapped somewhere in the Lobito Lab. While I work to finish up this mission, we finally get to find out just who this Gary really is. Or…do we?

Ac!d Commander: Finding Gary (part 1)

Up this week is yet another single video, and it’s only the first part of a larger whole. I explain my motives concerning the division of the episode at the end of the video, but suffice to say, I’ll be cutting longer videos down into serviceable chunks from here on out. So what’s up with Snake? Well, he inside the Lobito Lab (or on the grounds or something, it’s a little hard to tell), and he’s on the hunt for a guy named Gary. It sounds mundane, but I promise that the results are anything but. Onward, Solid Snake! Onward!

Ac!d Commander: Now that we know how to move, let’s start moving!

With my strange introduction to this new game project in the long forgotten past, it’s time to really kick off the Metal Gear Ac!d party!

*Ahem*

This is my new game project. It involves Metal Gear Ac!d for the PSP.

Up this week is only one video: my second episode. As Snake moves onto the grounds of the Lobito Laboratory,  I finally start chewing on the meat of the game — picking cards, taking down my enemies, staying in the shadows, and of course, royally fucking up at the wrong times. But hey, it’s all in good fun!

Ac!d Commander: Let’s get KRUNK!

OMG, I just typed “krunk.” Seriously, what the fuck? Who am I, even? And what is wrong with me?? … … …

WHAT AM I EVEN DOING HERE???

Oh, yeah…Ac!d Commander, that’s what!

YouTube Highlights: November 2016

As we (collectively, across these lands) gear up for the year-end holidays, some of us undoubtedly have a little extra time to spare. Or maybe you don’t, but you need a moment of escape. Well, it is with this in mind that I’m plugging UWG’s YT channel once again. We’re celebrating a year-and-a-half of success! Granted, it’s been a slow road to travel, but between Hatm0nster, The Duck, and I, it seems we’re doing a decent job. Each month I’ve been offering up a YouTube Highlights post to show off our wares, and here’s the most recent one (though we’ve posted plenty of new content since the end of last month). Do stop on over and hit that “subscribe” button, why don’tcha? It’s the perfect present for you and us!

United We Game

Happy Thanksgiving! (Or, happy Thursday if Thanksgiving isn’t your thing.) Though it’s a holiday for us, we’re not taking a break from posting our monthly highlights from YouTube. If anything, we’re more than thankful for our subscribers and supporters there, and here…and everywhere. Thanks to you, you..and YOU! To everyone who’s motivated us to keep writing and playing. We hope that what we offer lends a little joy. 🙂 Speaking of which, November was a rousing good month for us video-wise, so let’s get on with the highlights!

First and foremost, we are incredibly pleased to have introduced this month, care of The Duck of Indeed, two brand new Let’s Plays: Ratchet & Clank (PS4) and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask! We hope  you’ll follow along as The Duck takes on these exciting titles.

In Memoriam: PlayStation 2 (2006-2016)

If any of you happened to catch one of my “Not Zangief” videos over on United We Game’s YouTube’s channel, particularly the one involving a first stab at Mortal Kombat vs. D. C. Universe, you’ll know that our PlayStation 2 recently passed on to that magical kingdom of video game hardware in the sky. If you didn’t know that, you know now. But…maybe you should check out that video just in case…

Of the game consoles that we own or have owned, this particular PlayStation 2 probably had the most unusual life of them all.

PlayStation 2, this is your life.

YouTube Highlights: May 2016

I haven’t harped on this in awhile, but did you know that United We Game has a YouTube channel? Well, you do now! And that means there’s no excuse for you to not click all the links I’m leaving here and then hit that magical “subscribe” button!

Oh, but seriously, we do have a channel, and it grows with content more and more each month. One of UWG’s newest features is “YouTube Highlights” where we pick some of favorite videos that we posted over a month and feature them on our site. Here’s the one from May, and be sure to look for this new addition to the site at the end of each month!

United We Game

With another month nearly done, it’s time for our look back on our YouTube happenings in May!

First off, we want to give a big shoutout to our subscribers, those who have been with us for awhile, and those who just signed on. THANK YOU! We appreciate the support, as well as your likes and comments. Keep ’em coming! 😀

Now, let’s get on with the videos. First up, let’s talk about classic games, because our “Nostalgic Notions” series has been booming! I uploaded several more videos of games featured on the Activision Anthology for the PlayStation 2. It’s hard to choose favorites, but I think the games Oink! and Pitfall! were both pretty great in their own ways. (And I’m not just saying that because their titles contain exclamations points. Though that doesn’t hurt!)
