Ac!d Commander: A circuitous route to obtain C4

This is my new game project: “Ac!d Commander.” It involves Metal Gear Ac!d for the PSP. Rather than being in written form, I decided to do an actual Let’s Play, making videos and everything. I’ll be posting one to three new videos every Friday from today until the game is over.  I welcome any comments and discussion. Apologies in advance for any audio hiccups, video malfunctions, or other jackassery, which will surely ensue.

Up this week are two, yes TWO more videos! How exciting is that?! And they are slightly shorter missions than usual, so yay? And that’s only because these two episodes represent a couple of middling stages that Snake must traverse in order to get to an armory. Adventure? Excitement? Well…maybe.

Ac!d Commander: Finding Gary (parts 2 and 3)

Finally, finally, finally have I have more than one video to share! Y’know, the devil in this process really is video editing. I mean, I could record games all the live long day…but editing them? That’s another story. So let’s talk about this story, the story of Solid Snake and a guy named Gary who’s trapped somewhere in the Lobito Lab. While I work to finish up this mission, we finally get to find out just who this Gary really is. Or…do we?

Ac!d Commander: Finding Gary (part 1)

Up this week is yet another single video, and it’s only the first part of a larger whole. I explain my motives concerning the division of the episode at the end of the video, but suffice to say, I’ll be cutting longer videos down into serviceable chunks from here on out. So what’s up with Snake? Well, he inside the Lobito Lab (or on the grounds or something, it’s a little hard to tell), and he’s on the hunt for a guy named Gary. It sounds mundane, but I promise that the results are anything but. Onward, Solid Snake! Onward!

Ac!d Commander: Now that we know how to move, let’s start moving!

With my strange introduction to this new game project in the long forgotten past, it’s time to really kick off the Metal Gear Ac!d party!

*Ahem*

This is my new game project. It involves Metal Gear Ac!d for the PSP. Rather than being in written form, I decided to do an actual Let’s Play, making videos and everything. Up this week is only one video: my second episode. As Snake moves onto the grounds of the Lobito Laboratory,  I finally start chewing on the meat of the game — picking cards, taking down my enemies, staying in the shadows, and of course, royally fucking up at the wrong times. But hey, it’s all in good fun!

UWG on YT: Yoshi’s Woolly World

It’s been awhile since I tooted my own video horn, mainly because I haven’t had much to toot about. But now…

…TOOT TOOT!

Okay, enough with the toots.

I’m playing Yoshi’s Woolly World for United We Game! After a grand row with retro games and fighting games, I decided it was time to take a breather and enjoy a little sweet and cozy platforming fun. And nothing says “sweet” and “cozy” like the happy bundle of joy that its Yoshi’s Woolly World. So from last week, and for the next…(*counting*) bunch of weeks, I’ll be posting my Let’s Play Yoshi Woolly World videos every Tuesday. You can find them on UWG’s YouTube channel, and I’ll also be sharing them on my Gaming Videos page. I’d love for you folks to follow along, leave comments, and give all the “likes” you can muster! Sure, it’s no Battlefield 1 or Final Fantasy XV, but it’s cute. Like super-duper cute! Like, like KINKA-MAYA-MAYA CUUUUTE!

And we all need a little infusion of cute every now and again.

Sam and Max Hit the Road: Episodes 3 and 4

Welcome to week two of my month “away” from writing! Um, I suppose that’s not something to celebrate. But! I’ve got two more Sam & Max Hit the Road videos to share, so that’s worth something! In these episodes Sam and Max really get out into the crazy world of tourist traps and strange destinations to solve the mystery of Bruno and Trixie. Is it possible that things get even more ridiculous than they’ve already become??

Yes, it is.

UWG on YT: Sam and Max Hit the Road (with bonus content!)

When I first played Sam & Max Hit the Road waaaay back when, if you had told me that I’d someday record me playing it for the masses, I’d have thought you were crazy. Like, who-the-hell-would-want-to-watch-someone-play-games CRAZY. But here we are, and I’m currently playing this brilliantly fun and silly classic LucasArts point-and-click game for the masses! My playthrough of Sam & Max Hit the Road, broken down into eight weekly segments, began last month over on United We Game’s YouTube channel, and I’m now over half way through, with the final videos going up each Tuesday this month. Today I’m sharing the first video in that series. Maybe like it or leave a comment if you feel so inclined, or just subscribe to UWG, because  it’ll make you EVEN MOAR AWESOME than you already are.

Because I’ve had so much fun with video-making for UWG (sentence much?), I completely forgot that I had recorded another Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 video for my own “channel.” After failing miserably there with something of a chosen team, I decided I’d go all random with my team choices to see what would happen. I still failed miserably but had a good deal of fun (eh, mostly). You can check out the results below.
