Bidding farewell to Virtual Bastion’s #NintendoSeptember celebration (it sure was fun!), we ended with our favorite Nintendo memories. I don’t know about you, but I think I came up with three that are priceless!
With #NintendoSeptember coming to a close, it’s fitting that we should round things out with our favorite Nintendo memories. Since my days with the magical, gray block that was called the Nintendo Entertainment System, I’ve racked up quite a few of them, from playing pass-the-controller with my siblings as we valiantly tried to conquer Super Mario Bros. 3, to witnessing the unforgettable opening moments of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on the Switch. (Yes, already a memory!) In between, there have been good times and bad times, but mostly really good times, three of which stick out a little more in my mind that the rest.

Congrats on beating Twilight Princess. Like you, I gave up on the title due to the motion controls. Perhaps one day they will release the game on Switch, using the Gamecube control system, and I will give it another go.

I’d recommend it. Not many things surprise me these days, but Twilight Princess absolute did. It’s got its wonky parts, as with any Zelda title, but its overall story was truly excellent.
