Ac!d Commander: Finding Gary (part 1)

This is my new game project: “Ac!d Commander.” It involves Metal Gear Ac!d for the PSP. Rather than being in written form, I decided to do an actual Let’s Play, making videos and everything. I’ll be posting one to three new videos every Friday from today until the game is over.  I welcome any comments and discussion. Apologies in advance for any audio hiccups, video malfunctions, or other jackassery, which will surely ensue.

Up this week is yet another single video, and it’s only the first part of a larger whole. I explain my motives concerning the division of the episode at the end of the video, but suffice to say, I’ll be cutting longer videos down into serviceable chunks from here on out. So what’s up with Snake? Well, he inside the Lobito Lab (or on the grounds or something, it’s a little hard to tell), and he’s on the hunt for a guy named Gary. It sounds mundane, but I promise that the results are anything but. Onward, Solid Snake! Onward!

  1. I’d just like to say that I’d be inwardly freaking out the entire time. Usually, my poor Solid Snake is running from cover to cover and staying there *forever* as I study guard movements haha. I’d be a mess if I had to leave Snake standing defenseless while I watched guards move closer…. Lots of fun to watch, as usual!

    1. Many thanks! I have to say that recording my gameplay is making me play a little more aggressively than I might normally. But, as you can see, I’ve got a long way to go in becoming a stealth “expert,” haha. When I go back to edit the videos, over and over I see how I should have done something differently — zigged when I should have zagged, and such. It’s stressful for me to watch, but I’m glad it’s not coming off like that in the end. 😉

      1. That’s the most important fun, having fun while doing it! I think it shows if you’re having fun regardless of roughness. I’m planning out something similar to you, so I’m trying to get used to that as well. I wish you success on your projects!
